The Lens
I have operated at the top of the two most consequential industries of our time — automotive and healthcare — at the exact moment both were forced to reinvent themselves.
At BMW Group, I led brand portfolio strategy across one of the world's most valuable multi-brand architectures. At Audi, I ran marketing across China and the Middle East — 13 markets, two continents, one brief. Twenty-five years across four continents, from OEM headquarters to startup advisory.
In 2021, I made a different kind of decision. I left BMW Group voluntarily — not because I had to, but because my son Ben was diagnosed with Alström syndrome and I chose to build rather than step back.
What followed gave me a second body of expertise — built under real pressure, without budget or title. A patient association with 180+ members across Europe. Partnerships with Charité, Pfizer and other pharmas. A co-authored scientific publication. A national awareness campaign placed in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung — pro bono. Congresses, policy work, and a global network in ultra-rare disease. The kind of credentials that don't come from a course.
That is the lens I bring. Pattern recognition across two industries. The independence of someone who has navigated transformation from the inside — in business, in an organisation, and in their own life.
